As a Facility Maintenance-Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standard year-round. This position requires strong leadership, operational planning, and hands-on problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day facility maintenance operations, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards.
  • Managing and supporting maintenance team members, seasonal crews, and subcontractors, providing clear direction, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Coordinating and scheduling preventive maintenance programs, repairs, inspections, and service requests across multiple properties.
  • Conducting routine site visits to assess conditions, identify issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Proposing maintenance budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Communicating effectively with Facility Services manager, vendors, and internal departments to provide timely updates and solutions.
  • Ensuring team compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Responding to urgent maintenance needs or emergencies as required.

This role requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills, attributes, and abilities:

  • Previous experience in facility maintenance, property operations, or grounds keeping.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of maintenance or operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of property services, including landscaping and snow removal.
  • Exceptional organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication abilities with the capability to lead teams and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands.
  • Experience managing teams, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Competence with digital tools and maintenance management software (or willingness to learn).
  • Responsible, dependable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Availability for on-call or after-hours response as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
