Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensure safe, efficient and consistent operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Provides electrical/mechanical support to all departments within the facility with a focus on preventative maintenance
  • Assist in the installation of any new equipment or projects
  • Prevent premature breakdown of the equipment used in production and operate the facility through continual preventative maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Maintain proper documentation including logs, maintenance records, safety and environment reports
Qualifications
 
  • Industrial Electrician with current Certification
  • 3-5+ years of experience in an industrial environment as Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of using computer software applicable to maintenance operations would be an asset
