Quality Control Inspector

Our state of the arts metal fabrication facility specializing in laser cutting, brake forming, machining, and welding, is looking for a talented Full-Time, QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR to join our dynamic team in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Job Description

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our quality manufactured. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Improvement: Manage our company's Quality Control (QC) manual, help drive quality improvements throughout the plant.
  • QC Inspectors: you'll will also be responsible for their ongoing training and professional development.
  • Audits & Compliance: Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to our QC program and regulatory requirements. You will also work with management to identify and pursue opportunities for additional certifications.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Preparation of quality documentation and verify that all QC records meet both code and customer requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining official weld procedure documentation and ensuring welding is compliant.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to defects and test failures by conducting root cause analysis and recommending and ensuring the execution of corrective actions.
  • Certification Maintenance: Keep all certificates of authorization, code stamps, and welder qualifications up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • Must have CWB Welding Inspector Certification (minimum Level II).
  • Certified in LPI (Liquid Penetrant Inspection), is required.
  • Reading Shop Drawings: Strong ability to read drawings, blueprints, and understand material and their tolerances.
  • Proven experience in a quality control role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Work Details:

· Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

· Schedule: Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required if necessary.

· Work Location: In person at our state-of-the-art facility in Brampton, Ontario (Goreway Dr. and Steeles Ave.

Please note: A criminal background check is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.78-$30.00 per hour
