Job Title: IT Support Specialist - Master-Level Internship
Level: Master's Level Internship

Compensation: Hourly ($32)
The Vosyn internship is unique. Remuneration is equivalent to $32.00 CAD per hour payable in common shares of the Corporation at the then fair market value. For greater clarity, NO cash in-hand (in hourly rate or salary) will be paid to the Intern. Instead, Vosyn being an AI start-up, the upside is in potential future value of said shares based on the hours worked, billed and approved.

About the Role: As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure by providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role requires a problem-solving professional who can address IT challenges, support end-users, and ensure system efficiency and security.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify technical needs, implement solutions, and contribute to continuous improvements in IT operations. This immersive internship offers hands-on experience, collaboration with senior management, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While demanding, it promises to be a rewarding complement to your academic journey, equipping you with valuable skills and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist in maintaining and upgrading IT systems, including servers, networks, and devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in compliance with security policies.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential technical issues.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware systems as required.
- Document IT processes, solutions, and user guides to support team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with teams to implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
About You:
- Completed Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. Master's program enrollment or completion is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for troubleshooting IT issues.
- Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking protocols.
- Experience with IT support tools and platforms (e.g., remote desktop, ticketing systems).
- Proficiency in system maintenance and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist end-users and collaborate with teams.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Recruitment Process:

After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you believe that this internship is for you.
