About the Position

Are you passionate about mentoring young people and helping them discover their strengths, interests, and sense of direction? Do you believe in the power of connection between Indigenous communities and post-secondary education? If so, this could be your opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of youth and help shape a more inclusive and supportive future at Lethbridge Polytechnic.

As the Indigenous Youth Liaison, you'll play a vital role in building strong relationships with Indigenous youth, families, and communities. You'll lead and support meaningful events that showcase the opportunities Lethbridge Polytechnic offers, while also collaborating closely with internal teams to represent our institution at community gatherings and recruitment activities.

This role is all about connection—working alongside high schools, career practitioners, and community partners to open doors to dual credit and post-secondary pathways for Indigenous students. You'll support youth through one-on-one and group advising, offering guidance on programs, admissions, student services, and career possibilities.

You'll also help shape the future of our programming by offering feedback, contributing to initiatives, and helping ensure that our efforts reflect the needs and aspirations of Indigenous learners. Through your leadership, care, and collaboration, you'll help foster a welcoming and empowering environment that supports students on their journey toward post-secondary success.

This is a dynamic, people-centered role for someone who is organized, proactive, and deeply committed to youth and community. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
