Position Overview

We're looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic international team. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to design, build, and maintain high-performing web and mobile applications that support our mission to improve rehabilitation outcomes worldwide.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, enjoys tackling complex problems, and embraces the opportunities that come with emerging technologies like AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively on multiple projects, contributing to both frontend and backend development.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (React).
  • Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases (e.g., MySQL) with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technology decisions that shape our platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance existing codebases, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
  • Integrate external APIs and third-party software into Wibbi's systems.
  • Ensure adherence to data security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate across teams and departments to deliver innovative solutions that meet client and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency with PHP Laravel, JavaScript (React), SQL, AWS, Docker, and related tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Git (Bitbucket), Jira, and Postman.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and self-sufficient in managing deliverables.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys finding efficient solutions to complex challenges.
  • Bilingual (English and French) – English is required as this role involves collaboration with teams outside Quebec.
