Role Summary

As a Payroll Assistant, you'll be part of our Edmonton office team, helping process payroll, maintain employee records, and support staff with payroll inquiries. This role is a great fit for someone detail-focused, organized, and eager to build skills in administration. No payroll experience? No problem — we provide training and mentorship to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and employee records
  • Enter and verify data with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Respond to payroll questions in a professional, helpful manner
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Payroll or admin experience is an asset — training provided
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (within 6 months)
  • Two work-related references
