We're expanding our team and looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join us. We have at least one full-time position and can accept multiple part-time and on-call workers. This role can lead to year-round work and advancement into leadership positions for the right candidates.

What We're Looking For

We're hiring general laborers, shovelers, and snow removal drivers/operators for the upcoming snowfall (Sunday/Monday). Work typically begins very early mornings and may continue through the day depending on accumulation.

Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Shoveling walkways, steps, decks, and sidewalks
  • Operating snow blowers, ice melt spreaders, and other tools
  • Driving between job sites (must have your own reliable vehicle)
  • Clearing commercial & residential properties with high attention to detail
  • Taking photos for documentation at every site
  • Following route instructions and safety procedures
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Being available on-call when storms hit

Requirements

  • Physically able to work in winter conditions
  • Early start times; shifts may range 5–14 hours depending on storms
  • 2–6 days/week depending on FT/PT role
  • Reliable transportation required (truck preferred; 4x4 & winter tires are major assets)
  • Must provide a photo of your driver's license (security, liability & record-keeping)
  • Must work efficiently and reliably
  • Commercial snow experience is an asset but not mandatory
  • Proper winter clothing required: warm boots, gloves, snow pants, waterproof jacket
  • Strong communication, punctuality, and reliability are essential

Pay Structure

  • Drivers with a truck: $25-30/hr + fuel reimbursement
  • Drivers with a car: $20-25/hr + fuel reimbursement
  • Helpers / Shovelers: $18-25/hr
  • Base wage: $20–$22/hr (depending on experience)
  • Top candidates may earn $25–$30/hr
  • Paid bi-monthly
  • Working interview (paid $20/hr) required before setting long-term wage
  • Paid as self-employed contractors (you are responsible for your own taxes)

Optional Fixed-Income Program

For highly reliable workers who drive who show strong consistency, quality of work, and can manage a set number of houses/properties,

a fixed income can be discussed (snow or no snow).

This depends on:

  • Property size
  • Number of houses covered
  • Quality & reliability demonstrated
  • Ability to independently complete routes

This option provides predictable income throughout the season.
