We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Support chefs and cooks in cooking tasks as needed, ensuring timely meal preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food items.
  • Help with serving meals to customers or staff as required.
  • Participate in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Skills

  • Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic cooking skills are a plus, along with an eagerness to learn more about culinary techniques.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils is beneficial.
