Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other essential tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to meet health and safety standards
  • Support with dishwashing and sanitation duties to ensure a hygienic workspace
  • Help organize ingredients and supplies for efficient kitchen workflow
  • Assist in serving food and beverages as needed during meal service
  • Follow proper food safety protocols and handling procedures at all times
  • Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen-related tasks as assigned
  • Ensure the kitchen area remains tidy and organized throughout shifts

Skills

  • Experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a kitchen setting
  • Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
  • Ability to handle food safely and responsibly
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
  • Prior hotel or restaurant experience is a plus but not required
