Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Job Type: Permanent position, 5 days on site, Calgary Alberta

Job Salary: $30 - $35 / hour (Depending on experience)

Job Description:

  • Coordinate full-cycle processing of invoices, disbursements, and receipts, ensuring expenditures are correctly coded and authorized
  • Execute and validate scheduled payment batches and align remittances within the ERP platform
  • Monitor aging schedules and pursue resolution of overdue receivables
  • Perform bank account reconciliations and clear outstanding items
  • Match and verify monthly supplier, customer, and intercompany statements, investigating variances as needed
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities and compile documentation for audit requests
  • Prepare GST filings and maintain correspondence with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain organized documentation practices, including vendor and customer master data
  • Post recurring journal entries for items such as insurance, financing, and deposits
  • Mentor junior team members, contribute to process improvements, and provide guidance on capitalization and control procedures

About You:

  • 3-5 years of AP experience in manufacturing, retail, or tangible products
  • Polished and well communicative enough to make executive presentations
  • Competency supporting other AP and AR clerks
  • Tech Savvy – strong with excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
  • System – Sage X3 is an asset but not required
  • Comfortable with a dog-friendly office building
  • Detail orientated, friendly, and great communication
