As the Regional Sales Manager at Tesla, you will play a pivotal and multifaceted role in steering the success of operations across a designated territory. Your core responsibility is to not only drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences but also to shape the long-term strategic direction of the region. This involves overseeing the immediate execution of operations while continually enhancing the delivery volume and overall customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be instrumental in the growth of market shares across all product lines, elevating brand awareness, and ensuring increased profitability within the territory.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly impact and contribute to Tesla's mission by guaranteeing an accurate, consistent, and rapid transaction process for our valued customers. This role demands a keen balance between the macro and micro aspects of operational management, from shaping overarching strategies to ensuring the meticulous execution of day-to-day activities.

What You'll Do

  • Source, recruit, hire, and onboard top talent, taking charge of leadership, development, coaching, and motivation for high-performing teams spanning field retail, service-plus, and Tesla Centers
  • Directly manage a team of people-leaders, instilling and reinforcing a culture of leadership and team excellence, encompassing training standards, career pathing, succession planning, talent acquisition, and employee retention
  • Provide hands-on coaching and real-time feedback in stores and delivery centers, setting clear team targets and individual goals
  • Proactively mediate and resolve customer concerns and maintain safety and security standards in collaboration with EH&S and Workplace and Security Teams
  • Utilize reports and dashboards to provide feedback on strategic direction and implement process management changes
  • Demonstrate fluency in local market sales and DMV requirements/processes and partner with fleet logistics to optimize sales and delivery processes
  • Build robust relationships with key stakeholders across departments, developing market strategy and commercial awareness

  • Offrir un encadrement pratique et une rétroaction en temps réel dans les magasins et les centres de livraison, en établissant des objectifs d'équipe et des objectifs individuels
  • Gérer proactivement les plaintes des clients et veiller au respect des normes de sécurité en collaboration avec les équipes HSE et Sécurité au travail
  • Utiliser les rapports et les tableaux de bord pour orienter la stratégie et mettre en œuvre des changements dans la gestion des processus
  • Maîtriser les particularités du marché local en matière de vente et les procédures administratives, et collaborer avec le service logistique pour optimiser les processus de vente et de livraison
  • Établir des relations solides avec les parties prenantes clés à travers les départements, en développant la stratégie de marché et la conscience commerciale

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team while managing multiple projects and adhering to business-critical deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, verbal/written communication, and sales skills
  • Effective at using data, logic, and instincts to identify problems and execute solutions
  • Experience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques; prior P&L experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Valid driver's license required
  • The successful candidate will be required to support projects in all Canadian provinces and communicate daily primarily in English with staff and clients outside of Quebec

  • Baccalauréat ou expérience professionnelle équivalente

  • Le candidat retenu pour le poste devra soutenir des projets dans toutes les provinces canadiennes et communiquer quotidiennement principalement en anglais avec le personnel et les clients hors du Québec
