THE POSITION 

Reporting to the Director Event Operations and Manager Event Production, the Supervisor, Event Operations will be responsible for the daily coordination and execution of Live Entertainment and Special Events as it pertains to the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Assist with advancing areas within the tour rider as identified by the Director, Event Operations and Manager, Event Production (ie: green room setup, hospitality items, gifting, etc.)
  • Coordinate and execute Live Entertainment VIP receptions and fan engagement as it pertains to the tour agreement.
  • Assist with managing designated front of house operations areas such as concourse displays, merchandise locations, external media opportunities, fan queuing, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on event logistics and requirements as it relates to Live Entertainment (ie: security, ushering, parking, housekeeping and additional areas as required).
  • Support the Manager, Event Production with coordinating requirements with external vendors as it relates to Live Entertainment related events including site visits, event load-in, day of execution, and post event strike.
  • Assist with populating event related documents such as event briefs, floorplans, workback schedules, task lists as it pertains to assigned events.
  • Responsible for all event detailing, work orders, task assignments within VenueOps, IMS, ClickUp and OneNote as it pertains to assigned events.
  • Assist with ordering and onsite management of event rentals & decor as it pertains to assigned events.
  • Assist the Director, Live Entertainment with coordinating all internal marketing requirements as it pertains to the event.
  • Assist with tracking event expenses and invoices as it pertains to the event and settlement.
  • Support with the planning and execution of CSEC special events at the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium (Season Ticket Member events, Fan Engagement events, etc.)
  • Support with the execution of CSEC team related celebration events at the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium (ie: NHL Playoffs, NLL Final, CFL Semi & Finals, Player Retirements, etc.)
  • Assist the Director, Event Operations with projects pertaining to the transition to Scotia Place.
  • Actively participate in safety programs and follow policies;
  • All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL 

The ideal individual will have the following background: 

  • 1-3 years' experience organizing and on-site execution of special events
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment;
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

CERTIFICATIONS 

  • Diploma or post-secondary education within event planning and management is considered an asset

This position will remain open until 3:00pm Friday, December 12th, 2025.
