The Position

Reporting to the National Sales Director, Dermatology, Territory Manager – Dermatology & Central Nervous System is responsible for achieving annual sales and business objectives within his/her geography. These objectives are achieved through partnering with physicians and other healthcare professionals in and beyond teaching and community hospitals and clinics, with the goal of changing prescribing behaviors, closing health care gaps and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively demonstrates ownership for the business on his/her assigned territory by fully understanding the health care environment, assessing and identifying key customers (Health Care Professionals) and engaging in the right mix of activities in support of assigned products while ensuring a customer-focused approach.

  • Shares geographical team responsibilities and contributes to the development and implementation of common action plans to achieve organizational goals.  The ability to work in both a team environment, as well as individually, is essential.

  • Represents our parent company in a complex business environment that is constantly being shaped by competitive activities, government legislation, hospital practices and technological developments.

  • The incumbent will complete his/her tasks in a manner fully consistent with our parent company's commitment to its Code of conduct, Our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards and all laws and regulations.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

  • Experienced and proven results as a pharmaceutical sales representative (specialty experience is a strong asset).

  • Knowledge of the Dermatology market (strong asset) - Topicals, Biologics, Launch and PSP.

  • Knowledge of the CNS/Migraine field considered an asset

  • Proven understanding of the reimbursement landscape of Immunology and biosimilar products.

  • Ability to rapidly learn and communicate scientific concepts and data.

  • Ability to engage in a complex patient management discussions, where the candidate can effectively use disease and product knowledge as well as market access and patient-physician support expertise, to provide value to our customers.

  • Ability to analyze, produce, execute and track a territory business plan.

  • Proven ability to rapidly build networks and relationships based on trust and second to none customer focus.

  • High level of proficiency in negotiation skills as well as how to manage objections and adversity.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team that is field or office based.

  • Proficiency in office technology and related software.

  • Ability to travel provincially and occasionally nationally-internationally.

  • A spotless record of ethics and compliance to all industry rules and regulations.

  • Valid Driver's license.

Rapportant au Directeur National des Ventes, Dermatologie, le/la Gestionnaire de Territoire, Dermatologie et Système Nerveux Central est responsable d'atteindre les objectifs annuels de vente et d'affaires au sein de sa géographie. Ces objectifs sont atteints en collaborant avec les médecins et autres professionnels de la santé dans et au-delà des hôpitaux et cliniques d'enseignement et communautaires, dans le but de modifier les comportements de prescription, de combler les lacunes en matière de soins de santé et d'améliorer les résultats pour les patients.

Responsabilités

  • Démontre efficacement la propriété de l'entreprise sur son territoire assigné en comprenant pleinement l'environnement des soins de santé, en évaluant et en identifiant les clients clés (professionnels de la santé) et en s'engageant dans le bon mélange d'activités en soutien aux produits assignés tout en assurant une approche centrée sur le client.

  • Partage les responsabilités de l'équipe géographique et contribue au développement et à la mise en œuvre de plans d'action communs pour atteindre les objectifs organisationnels. La capacité de travailler à la fois en équipe et individuellement est essentielle.

  • Représente notre société mère dans un environnement commercial complexe, constamment influencé par les activités concurrentielles, la législation gouvernementale, les pratiques hospitalières et les développements technologiques.

Éducation, Expérience et Compétences Requises

  • Diplôme de baccalauréat dans un domaine d'études connexe.

  • Expérience confirmée avec des résultats en tant que représentant des ventes pharmaceutiques (l'expérience spécialisée est un atout important).

  • Connaissance du marché de la dermatologie (atout important) - Topiques, Biologiques, Lancement et PSP.

  • Connaissance du domaine SNC/Migraine considérée comme un atout.

  • Compréhension prouvée du paysage de remboursement des produits d'immunologie et des biosimilaires.

  • Capacité d'apprendre rapidement et de communiquer des concepts et des données scientifiques.

  • Capacité à s'engager dans des discussions complexes sur la gestion des patients, où le candidat peut utiliser efficacement les connaissances sur les maladies et les produits ainsi que l'expertise en accès au marché et en soutien patient-médecin, pour apporter de la valeur à nos clients.

  • Capacité à analyser, produire, exécuter et suivre un plan d'affaires territorial.

  • Capacité prouvée à construire rapidement des réseaux et des relations basées sur la confiance et une focalisation client inégalée.

  • Haut niveau de compétence en négociation ainsi que dans la gestion des objections et de l'adversité.

  • Capacité démontrée à travailler efficacement dans une équipe interfonctionnelle sur le terrain ou au bureau.

  • Maîtrise de la technologie de bureau et des logiciels associés.

  • Capacité à voyager au niveau provincial et occasionnellement national-international.

  • Un dossier irréprochable en matière d'éthique et de conformité à toutes les règles et réglementations de l'industrie.
