Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a key member of our staff, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently managing drink orders, cash handling, and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills and contribute to an enjoyable guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Use POS systems such as Micros POS to accurately process orders and transactions
  • Ensure all food safety and food handling protocols are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any special requests or concerns
  • Manage cash handling duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal alcohol service regulations
  • Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in bartending roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; prior serving experience is advantageous
