Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in customer service, particularly within fine dining or nightclub environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Operate Aloha POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
  • Stay informed about current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance the guest experience.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Aloha POS and CLOVER systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent sales abilities to promote beverages and upsell menu items effectively.
  • Previous fine dining, nightclub, or food service experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Must be SMARTSERVE certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
