Long Harbour NL, Canada Integrated Logistics Full time

Integrated Logistics (NL) Ltd is a full-service stevedoring and materials handling company with operations across the province. Integrated Logistics continues to grow its operations and is expanding its employee base. Currently, we are seeking candidates with relevant training and experience for the following full-time onsite position in Long Harbour, Newfoundland.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities through phone calls, emails as well as face to face interactions;
  • Act as Client Liaison in coordinating daily tasks and operations;
  • Efficiently allocate manpower and resources to meet demands, optimizing productivity;
  • Prepare daily operations reports to be presented to Management Lead;
  • Maintain accurate records of shift activities, including incident reports, equipment logs, and safety documentation. Generate and submit reports to senior management as necessary;
  • Supervise and oversee operations of 20-25 employees per shift;
  • Coordinate, in conjunction with HSEQ Lead, Incident and Accident investigations;
  • Participate and cooperate in field inspections, audits in conjunction with HSEQ Lead;
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency within the shift operations;
  • Review and collection of documentation for safety incidents as well as vehicle or equipment repair work;
  • Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disputes;
  • Perform other duties as required;

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary training or relevant experience.
  • The ability to utilize investigative and audit tools and processes.
  • A minimum of five years supervisory experience (Preferred)
  • Exposure to the Engineering and Mining Industry (Preferred)
  • Experience working in a unionized work environment (Preferred)
  • Experience with MS Office including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, employee relations and interpersonal skills.
