Bus Driver

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, on both day and night shifts, 7 days on 7 days off, employees are expected to move between equipment pieces plus other tasks, including labour work to complete full assignments.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate and maintain passenger transport vehicles to provide on-time site services while adhering to safety regulations, including inspections and communication with the team.
- Maintain accurate records, including passenger counts, pre
- and post-trip inspections, and operational logs, and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Perform labor tasks involving the handling of mineral concentrates and chemical reagents, necessitating full-face respirator use and full body sealed Tyvek suits.
- Maintain a clean-shaven appearance and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours) when working in conditions with dust, particulates, vapors, fumes, or mist.
- Participate in Integrated Logistics flow to work program which sees workers move between tasks, equipment pieces and labour assignments throughout the shift and their career.

**TYPICAL WORK TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**:

- Snow clearing and road maintenance - with hand tools or equipment as required
- Receiving goods form trucks, ships and other transport mediums
- Transport of personnel and light mail across sites
- Cargo handling in bulk and packaged forms
- Install and use of pumps in storm ways, removal of debris and wastes for critical areas
- Assist the operations and other activities as requested by our clients
- All tasks in adherence to the HSEQ policies
- Other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Appropriate class 02, 04 & 05 endorsements for passenger transport
- A high level of experience with Single Axle Fuel & Plow Truck operation
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Ability to embrace, scope of work, flow to work and safe work practices, while participating in a respective work environment.

**Experience**:

- passenger transport: 2 years (preferred)
- Single Axle Fuel Truck Operation: 2 years (preferred)
- Single Axle Plow Truck Operation: 2 years (preferred)
- Class 02 & 04: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 4 Licence (required)
- Class 2 Licence (required)
