Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead our online retail operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless customer experiences, effective sales strategies, and efficient store management. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of digital sales channels. The E-Commerce Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, managing a team, and implementing innovative marketing and merchandising strategies to enhance our online presence.

Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase online sales and market share.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, and promotions.
  • Oversee merchandising, ensuring product displays are attractive and aligned with brand standards.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement advertising campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Supervise staff involved in customer service, order processing, and store management functions.
  • Handle negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers to optimize purchasing and procurement processes.
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and POS systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Manage payroll, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to e-commerce operations.
  • Train and develop team members in sales techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics using data analysis tools; prepare reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, pricing strategies, and store management standards.
  • Lead initiatives in marketing efforts including social media engagement, multilingual customer outreach, and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management or store management with a focus on e-commerce or digital sales channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with supervising experience in team management environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across various functions such as merchandising, marketing, and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement.
  • Experience with POS systems, pricing strategies, sales management software, and marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability in training & development programs as well as interviewing potential team members.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes along with strong math skills for financial analysis.
  • Outstanding customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette expertise.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
