What you'll do

  • Examine and ensure the prior production tasks were conducted in accordance with the QSM and component maintenance manuals.
  • Inspect as required, preparing for return to client.
  • Identify any issues if any prior to assembling wheel.
  • Document tasks completed and record status of work.
  • Conduct receiving and review documentation to confirm the work scope and condition of component is complete according to client's request.
  • All and any work to be completed according to the work scope.
  • Identify and document damaged or worn parts (as required).
  • Rework parts (as required).
  • Apply corrosion inhibitors.
  • Assemble component in accordance with the CMM.
  • Test component in accordance with the CMM.
  • Inspect tasks completed by other Technicians within approved scope of authority.
  • Send component to the next station as required.
  • Capability of lifting 90 lbs. 2 ½ feet off the ground.

Accompanying activities the Technician, Assembly Wheels, is responsible to their Supervisor for include:

  • Be familiar with locating and navigating company production and inspection procedures as applicable.
  • The start-up, maintenance and shut down of production equipment they operate.
  • Notify area Lead or Sub Lead of parts requirements.
  • Disposition of parts issued from stores.
  • Carry out and complete work assignments.
  • Certification within the scope of authority.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Working Conditions

  • Open shop environment subject to noise.
  • Subject to temperature fluctuations.
  • Shop may have odors of paint, grease, and other chemicals.
  • Will be required to work on feet for long periods of time.
  • Fast paced work environment, overtime may be requested during busy seasons.
  • Employee-owned tools required, please see Procedure Manual Section P-30 for details.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
