Our company is seeking to hire a Maintenance Staff and join a growing automotive industry company.
The Maintenance Staff maintains production and quality by ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Installs, troubleshoots, repair and maintains production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Performs scheduled maintenance repairs on equipment, production equipment and provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of the same during productionPrepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runsResponsible for PPMsof all plant equipmentReads and interprets equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and serviceVisually inspects and tests machinery and equipmentListens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect mamalfunctionsiscusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machineDismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired partsMay troubleshoot mechanical problems in the field as they arise Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishmentUses blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and manualsUses hand tools, power tools and test equipment Certified in Lockout/Tag out for Authorized UsersPerforms other work as assignedMaintain a safe working environment by adhering to all OSHA and plant policiesTo be a qualified candidate, you must meet the following:
High school Diploma or equivalentMust be able to read & write, have basic math skills, and be able to understand and follow written proceduresMechanical abilities desirableMinimum three years of maintenance experience preferredKey to being successful in this role:
Able to troubleshoot, repair and or make recommendations, and perform root cause analysisPossess working knowledge of manufacturing processes and proceduresProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMust pass Authorized Lock-out / Tag-out TrainingAble to work different hours and shifts as neededMechanical or hydraulic maintenance skills, basic knowledge of plant control circuits Correct use of common tools required for maintenance (gas cutting, plasma cutting, welding, multimeter, etc.)-
