Hiring for Tristar Airport Group, the 16 - month Co-op, Project Coordinator's primary responsibility is to supports project management by providing data analysis, tracking costs, productivity, schedules, and preparing reports, estimates, and quantity take-offs.
Coordinates with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining project documentation, drawings, and technical support for field staff. . Candidate will need to be flexible enough/ available to travel to job sites across the country.
What You'll Do Here:
Provide Management with data and project analysisReview contract documents, construction drawings, generate procurement list, RFIs, Change Orders, etc. as necessaryTrack productivity, costs, and progress on projectsPerform quantity take-off from construction drawings as requiredLiaise with and inform stakeholders, vendors, owners on project scheduleMonitor progress and assist in the provision of job cost reports to management on active projectsProvide data and input for month-end reconciliation Maintain files and correspondence on active and completed projectsProvide technical support to field staffAssist in the coordination, preparation and submission of as-built drawings and design drawingsAssist in the preparation, review, maintenance and approval of Engineering drawings and related documentsGather field information and assist in the preparation of project bill of materialsAssist in the preparation of detailed construction and design estimatesLiaise with clients, contractors, and internal departmentsOther administrative duties as requiredAble to perform in a fast-paced environmentAble to be flexible and available to travel to job sites across the countryWhat You Bring to the Team:
3rd-year or 4th year student from the Civil Engineering/ Technologist / Construction Management programsExperience in the construction industry is a strong assetExperience in the utility industry is a strong assetCapable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documentsSound computer skills – MS Excel / Lotus, MS Word, MS ProjectStrong communication skills – oral and writtenSelf-motivated with good organizational skillsAbility to work accurately under pressureAdaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines Ability to work with others as a teamValid driver's license and access to reliable transportationWilling to travel in as requiredAecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
