Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As an
Engineering Co-op
in our
Center of Excellence
, you'll focus on
simulation and analysis of positive displacement oil pumps and valves
for the automotive industry. You'll work with advanced tools such as
Ansys Suite, Simerics MP+, OpenFOAM, and MATLAB Simulink/Simscape
, gaining hands-on experience in computational modeling and engineering best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to product development and process optimization through cutting-edge simulation techniques.

What You'll Be Doing
- Support the Center of Excellence team on projects and daily engineering tasks
- Develop CFD and/or lumped parameter models for internal and customer projects
- Assist in creating engineering procedures to document lessons learned and standards
- Prepare and preprocess CAD models for simulation
- Write technical reports and documentation
- Work in compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems
- Use PLM systems for CAD and document revision management
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Completed courses in numerical methods, CFD, and/or lumped parameter modeling
- Experience with Ansys Suite, OpenFOAM, Simerics MP+, MATLAB Simulink/Simscape, or similar tools is a plus
- Programming experience in Python or other scripting languages
- Strong research skills and ability to interpret technical papers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Independent, self-motivated, and committed to meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work at a computer for extended periods
- A positive, "Can Do" attitude
