The ideal candidate is a battle-tested infrastructure expert who thrives in high-stakes, high-autonomy environments and brings a deep, practical understanding of enterprise IT systems. They're not just technically strong—they own problems end-to-end, anticipate failures before they happen, and engineer clean, scalable solutions across hybrid ecosystems.
This individual will serve as the technical backbone of the infrastructure team—equal parts architect, operator, and guardian. They should bring the mindset of an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), the discipline of a cybersecurity specialist, and the grit of someone who's rebuilt systems under pressure.

Core Responsabilities
- Lead administration of core infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, AWS, Office 365, Fortinet, and more.
- Manage and optimize on-prem and cloud systems across 30+ locations in Canada.
- Support and mentor other ICT team members (e.g., Junior SysAdmin, Support Analyst).
- Implement best practices for security, patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
- Drive infrastructure design for new sites, acquisitions, and special projects.
- Own documentation: SOPs, system architecture, DR/BCP, compliance standards.
Must-Have Technical Proficiency
Hybrid Infrastructure
- Windows Server , AD (multi-site), DNS/DHCP, GPO hardening
- Azure AD / Entra ID (identity security, conditional access, sync)
- AWS EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Route 53 - infra-as-code experience (CloudFormation or Terraform) preferred
Security & Networking
- Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls (complex routing, IPSec/L2TP VPNs, UTM)
- EDR/XDR platforms (SentinelOne preferred), MFS/SSO integration
- Network segmentation, remote access, and log monitoring best practices
Backup & DR
- Veeam (on-prem + AWS), DR testing, RTO/RPO strategy at enterprise scale
Productivity & Automation
- Office 365 tenant admin (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, licensing)
- PowerShell scripting for automation and system reporting
- Endpoint standardization (400+ users, hybrid environment)
Business Applications
- Experience with SQL-based ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 a strong asset)
- Printing systems, document workflows, and MFP intergration
