Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant Level 2 to join our dedicated dental team. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of clinical and administrative support, assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth and efficient clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assistance: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and crowns.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, take medical histories, and provide post-procedure instructions.
- Infection Control: Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are strictly followed for all instruments and equipment.
- Radiography: Take X-rays as needed, following safety protocols.
- Dental Procedures: Assist with dental impressions, placing temporary fillings, fluoride treatments.
- Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies and ensure the office is well-stocked.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare instructions.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant Level 2 qualification.
- Radiology certification HARP is a must have
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with patients and the dental team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Abeldent dental software for scheduling and record management is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
