Marketing Manager – Vibrant Durham Real Estate Team

Are you a creative, organized, and fast-moving marketing professional looking to join an energetic and growing real estate team in Durham? We're seeking a Marketing Manager who can elevate our brand, support our listings, and deliver standout client experiences through intentional, polished marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality marketing materials including social media graphics, postcards, brochures, listing feature sheets, and branded templates.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Write compelling copy for listing descriptions, social captions, newsletters, blogs, and ads.
  • Support property marketing from pre-listing to post-sale—coordinating with stagers, photographers, printers, and agents.
  • Capture and edit short-form video, lifestyle content, and event coverage (bonus if you have advanced photography/video skills).
  • Manage digital ad campaigns, including Facebook/Instagram ads, boosting listings, and basic Google Ads.
  • Build and send email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or CRM tools.
  • Maintain brand consistency and elevate visual storytelling across all platforms.
  • Oversee multiple projects, deadlines, and listings at various stages.
  • Bring fresh ideas to campaigns, brand initiatives, and client touchpoints.

Core Skills & Experience
Required:

  • Proficiency in Canva (non-negotiable)
  • Strong design sense, with an understanding of colour theory, layout, typography, and branding
  • Exceptional copywriting abilities
  • Social media management experience across multiple platforms
  • Solid project management and organization skills
  • Ability to work quickly, creatively, and collaboratively

Bonus Skills:

  • Photography and videography experience
  • Familiarity with Facebook/Instagram ads, Google Ads, retargeting, and tracking pixels
  • Experience in real estate marketing (an asset but not mandatory)

Soft Skills

  • Creative problem-solver who brings new ideas to the table
  • Team-first mindset with a willingness to support events, launches, and special client initiatives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Both creative

    strategic—understanding what makes marketing effective and how to optimize it

Experience & Portfolio

  • 2–5 years of marketing experience
  • Real estate experience is a strong asset, but fast learners are welcome
  • Portfolio demonstrating design work, social media content, reels/videos, and branding projects is required
