Job Description

We have an opening for one Residential Real Estate Conveyancer at our office.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum 2 years of real estate conveyancing experience with an Alberta Law firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to independently manage 35 to 40 sale/purchase transactions per month, from beginning to end.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing all necessary documents for real estate transactions, and coordinating with realtors, lenders, clients, and other law firms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, lender portals, and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain productive and efficient in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with real estate contract terms, conducting due diligence searches, cost calculations, and handling closing funds.

Compensation:

The yearly salary will be commensurate with experience.

Note:

While we fully support articling students and NCA candidates, this position is not open for them, as it requires prior, hands-on experience in Alberta real estate conveyancing.
