To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

As an Operations Application Support Team Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to build a new team that increases Operations efficiency by troubleshooting custom applications, assessing inefficiencies in application use, and driving continuous improvement projects. You will lead a support team and collaborate with closely with other leaders to drive business process and application improvements.

Please note, this opportunity is an on-site work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC. Due to the nature of our manufacturing operations, this role involves a rotating or variable schedule. Evening shifts and weekend coverage are part of the regular responsibilities. Candidates must be prepared to adjust their availability based on operational demands and support schedules. Occasional work on statutory holidays may also be required.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

  • Lead an effective support team, focusing on coaching and delivering high quality support for Operations applications.
  • Manage resources and assess SLA compliance so that Operations needs are met and production downtime is minimized.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leads to drive high-impact changes to applications and business processes that increase Operations efficiency.
  • Coach Operations Application Support Specialists on root cause analysis, training facilitation skills, and business process mapping.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects (e.g., addressing inefficiencies, hosting retrospectives, etc.)
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents and improve efficiency.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

  • Technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a team leadership role.
  • 5+ years in a Helpdesk Support or Operations role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for finding the root cause of issues and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate complex issues across departments and functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of Operations business processes and ERP systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.

Compensation
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.

  • $81,000- $100,000 (CAD Annually)
