Wage: Starting at $31.56-$33.28
Work Schedule: Monday -Friday 8am - 4pm
About the Role:
The Wellness Navigator supports multi-barriered individuals, survivors of violence, and Indigenous clients through the Employment Readiness Program (ERP) at Kinghaven Peardonville House Society (KPHS), in partnership with WorkBC Abbotsford and PBLMT. This position guides clients from intake to program completion, offering one-on-one case management, employment-focused coaching, and life skills workshops. The Wellness Navigator connects participants to community and employment supports, tracks progress, and coordinates special events that promote long-term success.

Senior Manager, Strategic Operations and Community Service
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and develop individualized employment and service plans.
- Facilitate employment readiness, life skills, and wellness workshops (group and individual).
- Maintain accurate client files, progress notes, and databases (ICM, Client Connect).
- Support clients with funding/training applications and job search tools.
- Provide post-treatment services focused on work experience, skill enhancement, and self-employment.
- Coordinate and host career fairs, workshops, and guest speaker sessions.
- Build partnerships with employers, community organizations, and referral agencies.
- Maintain contact with alumni to provide continued support and advocacy.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience supporting individuals with multiple barriers, trauma, or diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience delivering Life/Essential Skills Training.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and the Transtheoretical Model of Change.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and motivational interviewing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ICM, and Client Connect systems.
- Strong administrative, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of employment trends, labour markets, and career development practices.
- Experience with adult learning and First Peoples Principles of Learning.
- Ability to build professional partnerships and networks.
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide transportation when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., career or employment development, vocational rehabilitation, social work, psychology, sociology, human services, counselling, education or human resources management)
· Two (2) or more years of related experience in the employment services, counselling or other support services industry Working towards or holding an associated relevant professional certification (i.e., CCDP, RRP, etc.) is preferred
· Extensive experience working with multi-barriered, survivors of violence, Indigenous individuals and community partners, specifically advising within the employment and social services sectors
· Valid Class 5 Drivers' License and clear driver's abstract
· Occupational First Aid Level 1
· Criminal records check (vulnerable clearance)

Pay: $31.56-$33.28 per hour
