Key areas of responsibilities may include:

  • Quality customer service; assisting patients invoices for medications and other services.
  • Managing medication ordering and inventory.
  • Working with community pharmacy partners and medication companies
  • Responsible for day-to-day functions of the medication dispensary.
  • Assuring that best practices in medication packaging and dispensing are followed.
  • Participating in clinic wide safety training and quality improvement.

Education and/or Experience

Pharmacy Technician Diploma /Pharmacy Assistant Diploma

or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Assistant.

Experience in a clinical health care setting is considered an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Medication Inventory management.

Medication ordering, tracking & dispensing best practices.

Analytical skills, with the ability to manage inventory, ordering and to anticipate future demand.

Compassion and sensitivity when interacting with patients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.06-$26.20 per hour
