We are looking for an Intern to join our Finance team in our Montreal office

Your Day as an Intern - Finance

• Process mail.
• Verify, process and pay accounts receivable.
• Validate and record credit card statements, wire transfers and refund requests.
• Produce various account analyses and reconciliations.
• Prepare the deposit and make it to the bank.
• Follow-up on customer and supplier files.
• Manage post-dated cheques.
• Perform various clerical tasks (filing, data entry, answering emails).
• Support the accounting department, as needed.
• All other related tasks.

Our Ideal Candidate

• College diploma or university degree in progress.
• Experience in the insurance field (an asset).
• Ability to work well independently, in a team and with other members of the organization.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec.
• Thoroughness, attention to detail, quality and timeliness.
• Effective time management.
• Customer service oriented.
