Temporary Vice Principal (1.00 FTE) | Start Date: January 26, 2026

End Date: January 29, 2027 | Holy Cross Elementary School | Cold Lake, Alberta

At Lakeland Catholic, we are committed to nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Located in the vibrant northeastern Alberta community of Cold Lake, Holy Cross Elementary School serves approximately 400 students and provides a caring and inclusive environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through high-quality instruction and meaningful connections.

We are seeking a Temporary Vice Principal to join the leadership team at Holy Cross Elementary. This one-year opportunity offers the chance to lead with purpose and integrity, supporting students, staff, and families in a collaborative school culture focused on excellence, compassion, and growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal and school staff to provide instructional leadership, promote effective teaching and learning practices, and ensure a safe and supportive school environment where all students can thrive.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Master Teacher designation (or equivalent leadership experience)
  • Active participation in a Catholic faith community
  • Demonstrated leadership experience at the school or division level
  • Possession of, or working toward, the Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) designation would be considered an asset
