Palisade Gardens is currently hiring Part Time PSW. Must be available to work all three shifts including weekends. Option to pick up additional shifts.

The PSW will assist with resident's personal care and daily living needs as scheduled in a safe efficient manner

The role of a PSW is to provide personal care for seniors in our retirement home; Provide services and interacts with guests and family members in a professional manner; Assists and attends to special needs of the residents as required; Maintain a clean and safe working area.

The ideal candidates will have empathy and demonstrate care and compassion to the elderly population. Previous experience with personal care preferred

Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent;

PSW Certification Required

Previous experience with personal care

Experience caring for those with dementia.

Must be able to read and communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions; Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.

Effective interpersonal relationship and conflict resolution skills
