PRIMARY DUTIES

As a Personal Support Worker you will:

· Provide personal care to clients in their home or residential facility with compassion

· Assist clients with personal care tasks of daily living

· Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately

· Observe, document and report any changes in the client's condition

· Other duties relevant to the job as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

As a Personal Support Worker, you must have:

· PSW/DSW/PA+2 Certificate or OTA/PTA Certificate or HCA Certificate or Nursing Student

· Foreign Trained Nurse/Mid Wife or Physicians

· Current CPR Level C and First Aid

· Valid driver's license and vehicle

· Current and Clean Vulnerable Sector check screening is required upon hire

· Available to work every other weekend

· Ability to work independently or well as part of a team

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Ability to travel from client to client within the community
