Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of cargo. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both driving skills and equipment operation expertise to support our company's supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities

Skills

  • Valid AZ drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and other loading machinery
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
  • Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance records
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
