Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining positive relationships with prospective tenants. This position requires strong sales skills, administrative experience, and a passion for property management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
  • Assist clients with the leasing process, including application submissions and lease agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements using Propra property management software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to facilitate lease terms and conditions that meet both tenant and property owner needs.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to tenant applications, lease renewals, and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all leasing documents and tenant records.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
  • Exhibit professional phone etiquette while handling incoming calls from potential tenants.

Experience

  • Previous experience in office administration or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with property management practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar software for managing leasing operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong sales background with proven success in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate lease terms with potential tenants.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately and maintain organized filing systems.
