Auto Transport Services LLC is a Stellantis Transport operation based in Windsor, Ontario.

  • Auto Transport services are committed to provide paid training for all new employees.
  • Our training program is roughly EIGHT (8) weeks in which all new hires will be given one-on-one training with our Unifor health and safety representative.
  • All new hires that have no auto hauling experience will get every opportunity to understand and learn all scopes of the job requirements.

The job duties of an Auto Transport Services LCC " Stellantis " - Auto Hauler Truck Driver are to deliver automotive vehicles from one location to another. Our shipments consist of loads that range from 4-9 vehicles each trip. In addition to ensuring that the load is secure, our drivers must ensure that the auto transport trailer meets safety standards and weight restrictions. Lastly, all vehicles must be inspected for damage/defects before loading.

The Auto Transport Services LCC " Stellantis " - Auto Hauler Truck Driver must maintain daily elogs that are recorded in Trimble and adhere to all DOT/MTO policies and requirements.

This role primarily supports shuttle operations between Windsor Assembly Plant, Detroit, Toledo, and Windsor yards. In addition, Canadian highway shipments from Windsor to Brampton/Niagara runs.

All routes require a valid Full Class AZ license from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and a current Free and Secure Trade (FAST) endorsement.

The selection process will include an interview and a driving test.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid Full Class AZ license from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation
  • Minimum THREE (3) year's Class AZ verifiable driving experience
  • Current FAST Card endorsement
  • Ability to work any shift
  • Ability to drive city, highway and over the border (same-day routes or at times overnight stays if required)
  • Satisfactory Driver's Abstract report
  • Advanced vehicle control skills
  • Must meet Canadian Immigration requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LTL or steel hauling experience
  • At least ONE (1) year of "auto hauler" experience preferred. Car hauling is a profession in the trucking industry that involves auto transport. Job duties in which they are experienced are moving automotive vehicles from one location to another in which included loading each vehicle onto a specialized trailer
  • Just in Time (JIT) experience
  • Introductory level computing skill sets
  • Introductory level of basis mobile phone app understanding
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
