Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal and quality.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and preparing fillings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
  • Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about menu items and accommodating special requests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong baking skills with knowledge of various pastry techniques.
  • Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices in the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
