As an Engagement Manager II, you'll maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will work closely with integrated account team to move our customers' key initiatives from concept to results, solving complex challenges and delivering exceptional satisfaction. You'll ensure customers realize the full value of Akamai's solutions through strategic planning, technical acumen, and cross-team collaboration. 

As an Engagement Manager II, you will be responsible for:

Owning program management and being the trusted advisor that helps customers get the most value out of solutionsArchitecting and managing the web performance, cloud computing and security solutions Defining account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipelineLeading a cross functional team and developing a culture of excellence to empower and encourage team synergyPartnering with sales and pre-sales, advocating on behalf of the customer, expanding and deepening the use of Akamai products and services

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or its equivalentDemonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and an understanding of the consulting process to ensure customer successHave experience managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfullyBe knowledgeable on Devops, web development, web performance, with protocol knowledge such as HTTPS, DNSDemonstrate familiarity with cloud security technologies, with basic knowledge of methods used to protect data, applications, and infastructureDemonstrate familiarity with cloud compute technologies, with basic knowledge to design, implement, and manage cloud-based systemsPossess excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate technical information and manage strategic & tactical conversation with various stakeholders
