An ideal candidate will have previous customer service, or preferably previous pharmacy experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Blister packs production
  • Initial Visual Verification/first check of blister packs produced
  • Replenish Synmed stock
  • Maintaining and ordering synmed supplies (Dispill)
  • Monitor and coordinate with Pharmacy Operations Manager for medication supply, ordering and usage
  • Ensure stock bottles are organized on the shelf
  • Return medication back to stock
  • Coordinate with SynMed Customer Support for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Fridge Temperature Logging
  • Selecting proper medications to fill prescriptions
  • Managing incoming prescription requests via pharmacy management system
  • File appropriate documents in the appropriate locations
  • Efficiently count or measure, package, and label prescriptions,
  • Maintain proper storage of medications within the pharmacy
  • Customer confidentiality and privacy is top priority
  • Ensure stock rotation is completed and expired product is removed from the shelf monthly

General/Other Duties

  • Maintain professional image (dress code) and conduct at all time
  • Ensure proficiency with Pharmacy System
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Pharmacist direction, and adhere to all legal requirements, including provincial and federal regulations and bi law
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work space

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous pharmacy experience is preferred (basis of starting wage)
  • More than one year of customer service experience
  • Willingness to learn and ability to learn new things
  • Detail oriented in tasks and strict in following given policies and procedures
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (preferably in POS systems)
  • MUST be available full time Monday to Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
