Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. The Carpenter will be responsible for various tasks including building structures, installing cabinets, and performing repairs.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects.
• Execute cabinet installation with precision and attention to detail.
• Engage in concrete forming for various projects, ensuring structural integrity.
• Lift heavy materials as required for various construction tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction estimating practices is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools necessary for carpentry tasks.
• Experience with electrical work is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery is advantageous for specific projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read blueprints or technical drawings are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
