Job DescriptionConcrete Formwork Carpenter / Concrete LabourerMaple Reinders Constructors Ltd is currently looking for Concrete Formwork Carpenters / Concrete Labourers to work on a construction project in Shelburne, Ontario. This is your chance to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed CompaniesQualifications:Correctly interpret blueprints, specifications and project plansPre-fab gang forms, job built stick forms, install forms and ensure quality control of formworkStripping and removal of concrete forms after poursProvide support to the concrete foreman with project layout and elevation shootingHelp manage and prevent occupational hazards and ensure the site meets all safety standardsInstall form ties and misc formwork hardwareAlign, straighten, plumb and square forms for installationErect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces and other temporary structuresConstruct suspended slabsMust have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicleInstall handrailsReport any unsafe work practices or safety hazards to ForemanWe want an individual who will embody Maple Reinders core values of:People – Supporting our people to thrive.Integrity– Doing the right thing without compromise.Relationships– Building trust with clients & partners.Stewardship– Caring for communities & the environment.Ingenuity– Embracing challenges.
