Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, be detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to ensure safety and compliance with all electrical codes and standards. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations and repairs
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring and power distribution equipment
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical work
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
  • Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to coordinate electrical installations
  • Perform preventive maintenance on existing electrical systems to minimize downtime

Experience

  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial electrician background
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with construction projects involving electrical systems
  • Familiarity with low voltage wiring and control systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, and multimeters
  • Experience working with power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately
  • Prior experience working in industrial or commercial environments is highly desirable

This position requires candidates to demonstrate solid electrical experience, technical skills in blueprint reading and schematics, as well as familiarity with construction environments. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
