French/English bilingual is a big bonus, but not required.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating fun, engaging activities and learning experiences that actually make sense for young children
- Living the life of Social Emotional Learning
- Building a classroom environment that feels calm, structured, and joyful
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Observing development and adjusting support as needed (because every child is different)
- Communicating with parents regularly (the real teamwork)
- Keeping accurate documentation: observations, development notes, etc.
- Working alongside our team to keep the day flowing smoothly and the environment running well
- Supporting children with extra needs through inclusive care and adapted strategies
- Following all health + safety policies to keep everyone safe and well
- Using the Lillio app, developing or utilizing your iPad skills for lesson planning, communication, and record keeping
- Leading with confidence and warmth, using positive guidance and clear boundaries
What we're looking for
- Experience working with children in daycare setting (required)
- Solid understanding of child development and early learning
- Strong communication skills (with children, parents, and coworkers)
- Organized, reliable, and able to handle a busy day without losing your cool
- Someone who brings leadership energy while still being nurturing
- French/English bilingual = highly desirable, but not required

Several of our staff have worked here for 10 years, that really says a lot about the culture of support that has been created in our beautiful centre. We're housed in a beautiful 20,000 sq ft facility, with a literal 10,000 sq ft play yard, gym with a climbing wall, nap rooms built in the classrooms, and the centre was designed by the owners after having 25+ years in the industry. The building itself makes your job so much more enjoyable
