Peninsula Co-op is a

operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 10 liquor stores, 3 commercial
card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. The Co-op
generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k
each year to local charities. The business is highly regarded, financially
strong, and has developed a loyal member following. The Co-op remains locally
owned and proudly shares profits with its 127,000 member-owners, community, and
staff.

Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Fuel and Convenience Centre Associate (we would like to call you a Customer Service Representative). We have two part-time opportunities, working an range of hours per week available at our Millstream Fuel and Convenience Centre, located at 2320 Millstream Rd. Victoria, BC V9B 3R3. Our ideal candidates have open availability throughout the week, including the availability to work early morning shifts and daytime hours.

We are a

members. We are looking for enthusiastic customer service professionals who:

Always look for ways to be helpful and
go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite.

Love the great outdoors. Rain, wind,
snow and blazing hot sun mean nothing.

·
Good with numbers and can handle cash
and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.

·
Look out for their safety and the
safety of others. 

·
Able to be on their feet nearly all
their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds)

·
Values integrity and
honesty; someone to admire and emulate.

·
Know their way around under the hood
of a car is also helpful, but not essential - we train for this. 

WHAT
YOU'LL BE DOING

Besides working with the best group of
teammates and serving fantastic customers, you will be dispensing fuel, washing
windows, checking vehicle fluid levels, cleaning, and stocking the convenience
store, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location
is clean and safe. We'll also train and develop you for Shift Supervisor,
Assistant Manager, and Site Manager opportunities if you are looking for
advancement We love to promote from within & over 70% of our leaders
