Are you a friendly, caring, and upbeat person who loves helping others? We're looking for a Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team at Okanagan Denture

As the first point of contact for our patients, you are the face of the clinic and responsible for providing outstanding patient care and experiences. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and working in a positive, team-focused environment. We are looking for an individual that is dedicated to making a difference in our patients lives and can help them reach their treatment goals.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Greet and assist patients with a warm, friendly smile.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments.
  • Clean and tidy patient rooms between appointments.
  • Perform light cleaning throughout the day.
  • Make re-care / reminder calls to patients.
  • Assist with basic admin tasks and office organization.

Requirements:

  • Organization, being efficient, and situational awareness, are a must to be effective.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with computer software such as, word, outlook, ect.
  • Experience in dental or healthcare clinic would be an asset.

Dental office experience is an asset, but not required — we're happy to train the right person

Wage: competitive/based on experience

Hours: Preferably would like full time (Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-2pm) However, we're happy to consider part-time or flexible hours for the right candidate
