Job Title: Front House Salesperson

Location: 6 Cloud Dessert Café, Toronto

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Overview:

As a Front House Salesperson at 6 Cloud, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring every guest has a memorable experience, from greeting them at the door to guiding them through our menu and offering product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude as soon as they enter the café.
  • Provide detailed information about the menu, including soufflé options and any special promotions.
  • Guide customers to their tables and assist with any special requests or inquiries.
  • Ensure a positive and memorable experience for every guest, from arrival to departure.
  • Sales Support:
  • Assist in upselling products and suggesting pairings (e.g., desserts, drinks) to enhance the customer's experience.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and mobile payments.
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene:
  • Ensure the front house (entry, seating area, and counter) is always clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Regularly sanitize tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces to maintain a safe environment.
  • Monitor and replenish stock (e.g., napkins, menus) to ensure customers always have what they need.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols to guarantee a clean and welcoming space for both staff and customers.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the kitchen and back house team to ensure smooth operations and quick service.
  • Communicate effectively with the team about customer needs, feedback, and orders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per year
