About AMBRA Logistics Inc. AMBRA Logistics Inc. is a federally incorporated logistics partner based in London, ON. We specialize in high-density residential and medical last-mile delivery. Led by management with extensive experience in major carriers (FedEx/Purolator), we prioritize safety, efficiency, and fair partnerships with our drivers.

The Role We are currently building our roster of Independent Contractors for the upcoming Peak Season and ongoing contracts. This is a "Casual / On-Call" position ideal for drivers with their own high-capacity vehicles looking for flexible, high-volume work.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Load & Go: Arrive at the London terminal to load packages into your own vehicle efficiently.
  • Deliver: Execute residential and commercial deliveries safely and accurately using a route navigation app.
  • Customer Service: Ensure "porch-safe" delivery (taking photos) and professional interaction with customers.
  • Safety First: Maintain safe driving standards in winter conditions.

Requirements:

  • Vehicle: Must own/lease a reliable Minivan (Dodge Caravan, Kia Sedona, etc.) or Large SUV. (Sedans may be considered for smaller routes, but vans are prioritized).
  • License: Valid Ontario G Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
  • Background: Must provide a valid Criminal Background Check (issued within the last 90 days) OR be willing to undergo a new check prior to onboarding.
  • Tech: Must have a smartphone with a data plan (for the delivery app).
  • Physical: Ability to lift parcels up to 50 lbs (though most are light envelopes/boxes).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay Structure: Paid Per Stop / Per Route (Piecework).
  • Earnings Potential: Efficient drivers typically earn between $20 - $35 per hour (gross) based on speed and route density.
  • Flexibility: You are your own boss. Schedule based on available routes and your availability.
  • Growth: High-performing drivers will be prioritized for permanent routes in 2025.
