Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Developer located in Edmonton, AB. The Program Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting software programs. Daily tasks include coding, testing, and debugging applications, collaborating with team members, and participating in code reviews. This position is NOT PAID, it is a passion project designed to deliver altruistic impact

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++
  • Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with open-source development and collaborative coding practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in healthcare or medical industries is a plus (though not a necessity)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or working towards one.
