Connect6 Group is looking to add to our expanding team We are currently looking for an Event Sales Manager who will be working alongside our newest client TELUS, a leading wireless services provider, and will be responsible for managing Event Sales teams and assisting the team in organizing and hosting events to sell products/services.

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Event Sales Manager to join our team. As an Event Sales Manager you will be responsible for communicating expectations to employees and providing coaching and corrective actions when needed. Additionally, the Event Sales Manager will focus on sales while acting as an ambassador for the client and will be responsible for maintaining a positive brand image. The Event Sales Manager must have excellent verbal communication ability with high level management and professional written communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key player in implementation and management of the Event Sales operation
  • Working outside or in a retail environment with the Event Sales team
  • Provide technical support and training to the Event Sales team
  • Evaluate performance, recommend solutions and execute coaching to improve the performance of the Event Sales Representatives
  • Handle customer complaints and resolutions
  • Review product certifications and maintain records
  • Participates in customer and client listening programs to identify customer needs and expectations
  • Provide actionable data to various internal support groups as needed
  • Prepare and analyze internal and external quality reports for management staff review.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of Sales Management experience
  • Bachelor Degree a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer care while driving sales
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills
  • Solid time management skills
  • Must be able to effectively deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the Company
  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast paced, team environment
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (intermediate Word, basic Excel)

Compensation:

  • Annual base salary of $45,000 with an opportunity to earn up to $60,000 OTE to $65,000 OTE
